“E911” sends the emergency information such as your actual location (longitude and latitude), Name, account info, and hospitals/911 near you to the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).

How To Add E911 Address For T-Mobile, Verizon, & AT&T

The E911 address is the location that emergency personnel (police/fire/ambulance) will see as your listed address if you were to call them and were unable to communicate.

You may save up to three addresses under the e911 address, and the best practice is to update your E911 address every time you move your phone to a different location so, in case of emergency, you can be easily found.

How does an e911 address work?

  • You can update your e911 address whenever you visit a place, especially an unknown one.
  • In case of emergency, just dial 911.
  • “E911” will send the emergency information such as your actual location (longitude and latitude), Name, account info, and hospitals/911 near you to the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).
  • This way, you can be easily traced in case of emergency.

How to Add an E911 Address?

Add E911 address For T Mobile.

Note: Wi-Fi Calling and some other T-Mobile products require a valid E911 address to work.

  • Visit T Mobile login, https://account.t-mobile.com/signin/v2/
  • log in to your account
  • Please make sure the line changing the address has master privileges.
  • Tap your Name from the top right.
  • Tap Profile.
  • Choose a line from the Select Line drop-down.
  • Tap Line Settings.
  • Choose E911 Address.
  • Enter the new E911 address. (This address should be the primary place where you use the line.)
  • Tap Save changes.
  • Repeat this step for any other lines that moved.

Add E911 address For Verizon.

Note: Verizon only adds a valid US address for e911, so make sure you are adding a valid US address.

  • Go to My Verizon from your browser.
  • Log in to your account. 
  • Go to Account
  • Then tap My devices.
  • Tap Device overview.
  • Tap Manage device under the current Host MDN.
  • Go to ‘Manage E911 Address
  • Tap Manage. (The ‘Manage E911 address’ option will only appear if the number is currently selected as the Host MDN and may require scrolling to the bottom of the screen.)
  • Tap Edit from your MDN.
  • Enter a new address.
  • Tap Save Changes.

Add E911 address For AT&T.

For Admin

  • Go AT&T Office@Hand account.
  • Log in as an Administrator.
  • Go Phone System.
  • Tap Phones & Devices.
  • Choose the Extension with the Emergency Address that needs to be updated.
  • Tap Edit Address.
  • Enter your Name and address.
  • Read the terms of service
  • Tick the check box to confirm the terms of services.
  • Then tap I Accept
  • Tap Save.
  • You are done

For User

  • Go AT&T Office@Hand account.
  • Log in as a user
  • Tap Settings
  • Choose Phones & Numbers.
  • Tap Phones.
  • Go to the device to which you want to update the address, and Tap Edit.
  • Go to Emergency Address.
  • Tap Edit Address.
  • Enter your Name and address.
  • Read the terms of service.
  • Tick the check box to confirm the terms of services.
  • Then tap I Accept.
  • Tap Save.
  • You are done.
