  • Firstly, go to your Windows’ search bar and type in Control Panel.
  • Open up the Control Panel app. And then, head to the User Accounts section.
  • Next, under User Accounts. Click on the Manage your file encryption certificates option and open it.
  • From the page prompted in front of you. Select the Use this certificate option or the Select Certificate button and go to the next dialog box. 
  • There, when you see the login option in front of you. Hit it and wait for the certificate to load.
  • Once the certificate gets loaded. Go on to the next step by clicking on the Next button.
  • Then, from the list of options shown. Check mark the All Logical Drives option and update your encrypted files. 
  • After all that is done. Click on Next and restart the app to see whether the error still exists.
