How To Fix If Amazon Prime Not Working On Roku?

Fix 1: Check Your Internet

First of all check your internet connection, if it’s working fine or not.

To check your internet connection, simply connect your phone with the same wifi, and check if the internet is working fine or not.

If the internet is working, but it’s browning slow in your smartphone, then please consider checking your internet speed.

If your internet is slow, then it may be the reason for the error.

Fix 2: Unplug Power Cord Of Roku, And Plug It Again

If your internet is working fine, then try Unplug Power Cord Of Roku, And Plug It Again.

  • Turn of Roku From Remote
  • Unplug the Roku power cord
  • Wait for around one minute
  • Plug the power cord again

Fix 3: Reset Roku

If a problem still occurs, then try resetting your Roku. It will fix the possible bugs and cache-related issues with Roku.

  • Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  • Scroll down and tap Settings
  • Choose System
  • Tap System Restart
  • Tap Restart

Fix 4: Check For Roku Update

Go to the Ruku setting and check for the update.

If Roku is showing the option for an update, please consider updating it.

  • Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  • Click on Settings.
  • Click on System.
  • Tap System update.
  • Tap Check Now

Fix 5: Check Your Amazon Prime Account

Try to open your Prime Account on your phone or laptop; it may be possible that there will be an issue with your Prime Account.

Fix 6: Deregister Your Device From Prime Video Account

Go to your Prime Account and deregister your Roku device. And then, open the Prime Video in Roku and enter the login details again.

Deregister On Smartphone

  • Tap on my stuff icon from the bottom right corner
  • Tap setting
  • Tap registered device
  • Look for your Roku device and deregister it
  • Now open the Prime Video App on your TV
  • Enter the login details
  • You are done

Deregister On Laptop

  • Tap on my account icon from the top right corner
  • Tap account & setting
  • Tap your devices tab
  • Look for your Roku device and deregister it
  • Now open the Prime Video App on your TV
  • Enter the login details
  • You are done

Fix 7: Uninstall & Reinstall Prime Video

If these solutions don’t work, then try uninstalling the Prime Video, and reinstall again.

  • Press the Home button on your Roku remote.
  • Highlight the channel you wish to remove.
  • Press the Start button
  • Select Remove channel
  • Tap Confirm

Fix 8: Factory Reset Roku

The solutions given above should fix the issue with prime video on Roku; if they don’t, then try Factory Reset Roku.

To perform a factory reset, you have to press the serval button a couple of times in the series.

  • Press the “Rewindbutton twice
