Prime Video is not available for Xbox in India.
So if you live in the USA, then you can easily download the Prime Video for Xbox from the Xbox’s Store.
Note: If you live in India, then go to your Xbox location settings and change the location to the United States, and then restart the Xbox. This will let you use the Prime Video in Xbox from India.
Is Amazon Instant Video Available For Xbox?
Yes, and you can download the Instant Video for Xbox from the Xbox’s Store.
How To Download & Install Prime Video For Xbox
- Turn on your Xbox
- Log in to your Xbox if you haven’t already
- Tap on the Store Tab
- Select Apps from the right side
- Search for the Prime Video
- Tap the Prime Video app to start the download
- Tap Confirm on the next screen once the download process is done
- Launch and enjoy the prime video once the installation is done
How To Use Prime Video For Xbox From India
- Go to Xbox system settings
- Change the location region to the US
- Restart Xbox
- Go to Xbox store
- Download the Prime video app
- Switch back to the India region
- Restart Xbox
Note: it may be possible this trick doesn’t work; in that case, use a VPN and select the location of the United States.

What if Amazon Prime Not Working on Xbox
There are few things you can try if Prime Video is not working in Xbox.
- Try Restarting Xbox
- Check the Xbox Live status.
- Check your network connection; is it working properly or not.
- Log out and log in back into your Microsoft account.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Prime Video app
- Deregister prime video; simply go to your prime video settings from Mobile or Laptop, and deregister Xbox. Then go to Xbox, -> open-prime video -> enter login details.
