Pros:
– High workload: 6.6lbs/6kg workload can handle most mirrorless camera and even some DSLR.
– Sturdy build and still lightweight
– Stabilization is great for handheld recording.
– Compact design
– The hanging mode(with tripod and handle on the top) is perfect fit to shoot video from a low perspective. Nice ergonomic design.
– Battery life: definitely more than 6h, I never ran out of juice for outdoor shooting.
– Quickrelease

Cons:
– The manual needs some improvement. The description of the work modes is not clear. I found some unofficial YouTube video more helpful.

We tried it with our smart phone and we are going to try it with our new GoPro 8, but in order to do it we need to buy the tripod mount adapter. It’s doesn’t vibrate and keeps the smart phone in place all we need to do is to make sure to balance the smart phone with the gimbal which is something not to difficult to do. We will definitely use it when we do our filming.” MarqueeandBella

Customer Review: “Coming from a fully rigged out Crane 2 (which I used two handled rather than single handled) – the Crane 3 Lab is an entirely new system with specialized modes for particular types of shots (the new ‘V’ or vortex mode for 360 rolls that are unique to this product) and requires a new way of holding and handling the gimbal. Each mode is given its own dedicated button and placed on various parts of the gimbal where you’re expected to hold it (‘PF and L’ on the main column with the joystick and follow focus and ‘F’, ‘POV’, and various other new functions on the handle) as opposed to having it all on a single control panel as in previous models. I’d highly suggest looking at the tutorial videos produced by Momentum Productions that’s featured on Zhiyun’s YouTube channel for a thorough breakdown on the modes and capabilities of the Crane 3 Lab before doing any independent experimentation.” Kevin Chiu

  • 8 follow modes

Customer Review: “I use it with the BMPCC4K and the follow focus motor. Overall, it works as advertised, but it is heavy and there are some design problems, but mostly to do with trying to use it with the follow focus. I have ordered a kit with a strap to see if that will help with the weight burden. There are solutions for powering the BMCCPC4K with powere from the gimbal, but the cable that I ordered attaches to a port that interferes with the follow focus motor, (which for me needs to be mounted on that side to balance the camera).

I ordered the cable because the camera needs to be removed to replace the battery, which is often with this camera. I suppose I could add an external power source to the camera so the cable doesn’t interfere with the gimbal ff, but that will add weight. Gudsen’s product info is somewhat helpful, but certain details are lacking, so if gimbals are new to you like they are to me, it can be frustrating. Fortunately, there are enough Youtube users to help with that and a FB users group. 3 stars for remote control because the follow focus has to be controlled via wire attached to the gimbal (this is supposed to be a wireless operation in a future firmware release).” Havanese owner

  • Splash-proof (Not waterproof)
  • 5000mAh battery

Customer Review: “I owned a DJI Osmo Mobile. One of the axis froze so I need to buy a new gimbal to replace the Osmo. This G6 Plus can easily accommodate my iphone 8 plus with it’s bulky case that the Osmo Mobile couldn’t. Balancing the iphone on the Osmo was very easy. On the G6 plus, it takes a little bit longer and the instructions are not super clear. Included in the box are instructions in Chinese and English but I had to watch a video on Youtube to understand. The G6 Plus is heavy but look sturdy. The handle is not ergonomic and I most of the time operate the gimbal using my two hands vs. one with the DJI. If you have big hands you might not have enough grip to hold it for an extended period of time.” T. Mai

#Mirrorless Camera Gimbal Between 100$ And 200$

10. Neewer Mirrorless Camera Gimbal

It comes with a C-shape bracket and top handle grip, you can easily transform the rig into a handheld rig, which makes it more portable and easy in usage.

  • 15mm Rod System
  • C-Shape Bracket
  • Follow Focus
  • Matte Box
  • 10.35 pounds in weight

Customer Review: “I asked a question and received great feedback from other owners so I went for the order and I am very happy I did. The rig is what I needed. I did how ever make a few changes to my rig to use a different shoulder mount. I did this because it makes for using it with heavy equipment easier to handle. Not only did I change the arms the rest on your shoulder I added a Manfrotto monopod to the C-shaped bracket so when doing standing interviews my camera guy can drop the monopod down to take weight off his shoulder. When the interview is over he can pul the monopod backup and using it as an extra handle to manage moving the rig around.” Nicholas Calderone

#Mirrorless Camera Gimbal Below 60$

11. Eoocvt Pro

It is a very cheap Mirrorless camera stabilizer, you can get it under 30$ so you can not compare the product to higher price products. It is the best in this price range. It can bear payload up to 2.1 lbs and gives you excellent stability and good control over camera vibration while recording video.

  • 900 g in weight
  • Up to 2.1 lb of payload
  • Built with Aluminum

Customer Review: “Handheld Steadycams are very common these days for videographers and traveling YouTube foodies. There’s a good reason for this. They’re definitely an improvement over ordinary handheld video even with the use of your camera’s or len’s optical stabilizer. They’re also less bulky and more presentable than the traditional Steadycams that require a brace around the operator’s mid-section. This, of course, also results in less parts which result in lower manufacturing cost and, ultimately, lower prices. But how can this one be so inexpensive??? Unlike some higher-priced handheld stabilizers, this one does not have any electronics. More elaborate and higher-priced units combine balancing weights with electronics that actively maintain the balance of the camera or camcorder, regardless of the position of your hand. This particular unit relies just on the balancing weights on the bottom.” vqworks

12. Fantaseal Gimbal

It has 2 hands holder design and it can esily bear the weight of heavy DSLR cameras and provide better stability. It has Anti-Loose Cellphone Clamp Mount which supports almost all of the smartphone brands.

  • 2-hands holder design
  • GoPro Quick Release Buckle Plate
  • Removable Mini Ball Head Hot Shot
  • 14.9 ounces in weight

Customer Review: ” I was really surprised with the quality of this stabilizer. The built in level really surprised me. I got this because I needed a two handed stabilizer and my previous “scorpion tail” (as I like to call it) just wasnt going to do the job. Very impressed with construction and versatility of this. 3 cold shoe mounts on top, 1/4-20 underneath.
So along with showing what you get, I was able to pull my son away from Fortnite long enough to help me shoot some action shots of walking down the street with the stabilizer and without. Getting the “scorpion tail” portion of the grip was the toughest part, but it never felt like it would break or bend. Very durable construction. Overall, best non-gimbled stabilizer that I own.” DCE Digital Studio

13. Roxant Pro

A really cheap Mirrorless camera gimbal with the great design and construction which helps you to get an advance level of stabilization and its lower arm contains a non-slippery grip for stable control.

Customer Review: ” I bought the Roxant Video Stabilizer out of curiosity, more than anything else, to understand how it works. The purpose of this video was to see if something this simple and inexpensive can really work. I was surprised how effective it was – especially when comparing videos taken with and without the Roxant. The unit is very well made – not cheaply construction. Make sure you do a good job balancing the camera on the stabilizer. It may take a little time on the first try, but your efforts will be well rewarded.” Lance S. Micklus
