- Yes, other brands smartphones can also be charged with wireless PowerShare option but make sure your phone has Qi charging standard.
- As per the information shared on the Samsung official website, yes it’s possible that your phone may have Qi charging standard, but still, it will not work with Wireless PowerShare.
2. Make sure the Wireless PowerShare option is enabled
- Access the notification panel on your Samsung phone.
- Go to the Wireless PowerShare option.
- Make sure Wireless PowerShare is enabled, if not tap on it to activate.
3. Please remove any third-party cases or covers from both devices
If you are using any third-party cases or covers for any of both devices then please remove them. As per the information shared on the Samsung official website, Wireless PowerShare may not work with third-party cases or covers, especially thick cases or covers.
4. Do not use headphones while using PowerShares
Please don’t use the headphone while Wireless PowerShare because it may affect nearby devices.
5. Make sure the phone which is providing the power has more than 30% battery
If your phone from which you want to charge another phone, it should not have a battery level lower than 30%. In such cases, the Wireless PowerShare option will not work.
6. Make sure you are placing the devices which is charging on a flat surface such as a table
You have to place your Wireless PowerShare Phone on a flat surface such as a table etc. If not then the Wireless PowerShare option may not work.
7. Make sure you are placing the other phone on the center of the phone
To charge your other phone with the Wireless PowerShare, you have to place your phone on the center of the Wireless PowerShare Phone. Simply try to move the phone to place it in the right place.
Once you place the phone on the right spot, the PowerShare phone will vibrate and play a tone. Also, you will see the changing screen on the phone.
