Google Pay error code XN comes when users try to add their bank account. And this error code XN comes with the error message “Invalid Debit Card Information, please try again later”. Most of the time this error occurs because of an issue with your ATM card, or bank account.

How To Fix Google Pay Error Code XN?


Fix 1: Check Your ATM Card

The main reason behind the error is the card so check if your ATM card is active, and if you are entering the correct debit card details.

If you recently get your debit card and you didn’t use your debit card even for a single time to withdraw cash within a three to four-month period then your card may become inactive. And in that case, you will get this error on Google Pay.


Fix 2: Are You Using The Latest Version Of Google Pay?

Also make sure that you are using the latest version of Google Pay, if not then you may end up with an error like this.

  • Go to your phone app store.
  • Search for the Google Pay app.
  • Now check if you can see the update option for the Google Pay App.
  • If you can see the option for the update then please consider updating the Google Pay App.

Fix 3: Check If Google Pay Server Is Down

There is very little possibility that you face this error code because of any server issue but still, we will recommend you check the Google Pay server status and if you find any issue or outrage with the Google Pay server then wait for a few hours, then try again.


Fix 4: Contact Bank
