Fix 1: Turn On And Off The Flight Mode

  • Quit the Google Pay App.
  • Then turn on the Flight Mode on your phone.
  • Now Wait for a couple of seconds.
  • Then Turn Off the Flight Mode.
  • Then turn on the Mobile Data or Wifi.
  • Now try using Google Pay.

Fix 2: Restart Your Phone

  • Power off your phone.
  • Then Wait for around a few seconds.
  • Then Power on your phone, and try using Google Pay.

Fix 3: Clear The Cache Files

  • Tap and hold on to the Google Pay app icon.
  • Then choose App Info.
  • Then choose Storage.
  • Now clear the Cache.
  • Now try using Google Pay.

Fix 4: Remove The Sim

  • Power off your phone.
  • Then Remove your Sim card from the phone, and then Reinsert the sim.
  • Then Power On the phone, and check if Google Pay still shows the error.

Fix 5: Use Any Alternate Internet Connection

It might also be possible that there is something wrong with your Internet, and to test that, you can try using any alternate internet connection.

You can try using any mobile hotspot or any wifi.

Fix 6: Clear Your Phone Cache

If the error still continues then try cleaning your phone cache and temporary junk files.

Most of the recent phones already have a pre-installed phone cleaner app to clear cache & junk files. But in case your phone doesn’t have any phone cleaner app then you can install one from the app store.

Fix 7: Use UPI With Other Payment App

If you are having the error while making a UPI transaction then you can use UPI with any other payment app such as Paytm, Phone Pe, etc.
