In this post I am going to tell, how to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode.
You can find the Ring or silent button on the life side of your iPhone. By using this button you can put your phone to Silent or Ring.
How To Enable/Disable “Ring or Silent” mode on your iPhone?
As I said above, the iPhone has a dedicated “Ring/Silent” mode button on the left side of the iPhone. You can use this “Ring/Silent” button to put your phone to ring or silent mode.
How To Change Ringtones, Sounds, and Vibrations On iPhone From Settings?
For iPhone 7 and later,
- Open Phone Settings.
- Choose Sounds & Haptics.
- Choose from the option to make changes.
- Choose the alert tone that you want. Or choose Vibration, or vibration pattern, or make a custom vibration.
For iPhone 6 And Earlier Version
- Open Phone Settings
- Choose Sounds.
- Choose from the option to make changes
- Choose the alert tone that you want. Or choose Vibration, or vibration pattern, or make a custom vibration..
How To Change ringtone and alert volume?
- Go to your iPhone Settings
- For the latest version of IOS, Choose Sounds & Haptics
- For the Earlier version of IOS, choose Sounds.
How To Select Vibrate For Your iPhone?
For iPhone 7 and later,
- Open your phone Settings
- Select Sounds & Haptics.
- Select between your iPhone “to vibrate when set to Ring” or “during Silent mode”.
- Or you can choose “turn-off for both the options”, so your phone will go completely silent with no vibration or ring.
For iPhone 6 and Earlier Version,
- Open your phone Settings.
- Select Sounds.
- Select between your “iPhone to vibrate when set to Ring” or “during Silent mode”.
- Or you can choose the “turn-off” for both the options”, so your phone will go completely silent with no vibration or ring.
How To Create Custom Vibration On Your iPhone?
For iPhone 7 and later,
- Open your phone Settings.
- Choose Sounds & Haptics.
- Choose any option under Sounds and Vibration Patterns.
- Choose Vibration
- Click on Create New Vibration.
- Click on the screen to create a pattern
- Once done click on Stop.
- Tap Play to test your vibration.
- Choose Save.
- Enter a name for your pattern.
For iPhone 6 and Earlier Version,
- Open your iPhone Settings.
- Choose Sounds.
- Choose any option under Sounds and Vibration Patterns.
- Choose Vibration
- Click on Create New Vibration.
- Click on the screen to create a pattern
- Once done click on Stop.
- Tap Play to test your vibration.
- Choose Save
- Enter a name for your pattern.
