Fix 1: Check IRS Server Status

The very first thing you need to do is to check the IRS server status, most probably this error is the result of server overload or maintenance.

So go to downdetector and check if downdetector is showing any possible outage with the IRS system in the last 24 hours. If yes then you have to wait till things get back to normal and then try again.


Fix 2: Confirm If Your Internet Is Working

  • If you are using a Wifi connection then restart your router and then try using the IRS.
  • If you are using mobile data then turn on the flight mode and turn it off.
  • You can also try connecting your device over a mobile hotspot and check if the error still persists.

Fix 3: Restart Your Device

  • Simply power off the device.
  • Now wait for around 30 to 60 seconds.
  • Then power on your device, and wait till it fully restarts.
  • Now check if the error persists or not.

Fix 4: Use Another Device/Browser

If the error persists then try using IRS with any other device, or use any other browser to check if the problem gets resolved or not.
