For those who create video content and upload it online, video editing skills are a must-have. The editing quality of a video can spell the difference between online success and failure.

In this review, we’ll explore the user-friendly video editing software that is popular among beginner editors, Video Editor by Movavi.

What is Movavi Video Editor?

Movavi Video Editor is a video editor for beginners that features a wide range of tools for editing videos.

It is capable of accommodating video files from your computer, footage from digital cameras, camcorders, and action cams, and output from microphones.

It also provides a library of royalty-free audio, video tracks, and sound effects to further enhance your videos.

The software’s editing space consists of a multitrack that can accommodate up to 99 video, audio, and title tracks. The timeline marks the length of the video and can be used to scale a video up or down for more precise editing.

One of the most important aspects of any video editing software is its ability to export and import different file types.

With Movavi, you will have no problem working with all the popular video file formats, including AVI, MP4, FLV, MPEG-1,2, MOV, MKV, WMV, and more.

There are also audio formats available: M4A, AAC, WMA, MP3, FLAC, and OGG.

You can also automatically export your edited videos to formats compatible with popular devices such as iPhones, iPads, Android smartphones and tablets, game consoles, and TVs.

Additionally, Movavi allows direct uploads to YouTube, Google Drive, TikTok, and Vimeo.

5. Compatibility

Movavi Video Editor has software versions for both Windows and Mac. Windows users in particular can consider it as an iMovie alternative. However, there is no particular version for Linux.
