Fix 1: Check My Cloud Server Status

The very first thing you need to do is to check if My Cloud servers are up or not. One of the main reasons behind the error is My Cloud services being down for some system issues.

My Cloud servers can be down for many reasons such as they are under cyber attack, they have some kind of system outage, their system is under maintenance, etc. So the very first thing you need to do is to check My Cloud Server status.

If everything is perfect with the My Cloud service but the error is still coming then check if your internet has some issues. You can try restarting your router if you are using a wireless connection, but if you are using mobile data then turn on and off the flight mode.

You can also try switching to a different internet be it a hotspot connection or another wifi connection.

Fix 3: Use GoodSync

This is not a permanent fix for the error but a temporary workaround while you are unable to access your file because of the error. You can use GoodSync to access your file locally for free in the NAS.

First, you need to install GoodSync for WDMyCloud on the NAS, and after that create an account. Then you need to install GoodSync Explorer for the phone.

Note: Meanwhile you can also try connecting the My Cloud support to report this issue, and to contact them you can visit here or here.
