Fix 1: Try To Rebuild Database

Power cycling your console device is the easiest solution out there to solve the following issue.

All you need to do here is turn off the power supply to the console device and unplug it from the power source for a few seconds, before plugging it back in. Then, switch on your console and start it in the Safe Mode by pressing and holding down the power button till the console beeps twice.

Once, the console is booted, select the Rebuild Database option and let the rebuild process take place. After completing the rebuilding process, check to see if the error persists.

It is important to note here, that you can navigate through the options with the help of your console only when the controller is connected to your console through the wired connection. Otherwise, you may not be able to use the controller in Wireless Mode when in Safe Mode.

Fix 2: Reinstall all games and Factory reset the console

Many users who had been facing the issue have reported that deleting all the games and then factory resetting the console did the trick for them in solving the particular error.

Firstly, create a backup of your saved game files on a cloud or separate USB drive. Then, uninstall or delete all such games and their game files from the console system. Once done with that, next go to your console’s settings menu, select the Initialization option, then Initialize PS4  and factory reset your PS4 console by selecting the Full Factory Reset option.

You can do the same in safe mode by switching it on in the same way as shown in the earlier section. Then, once you hear the two beeps and are in safe mode, navigate to the Initialize PS4 option and choose the Full option to Factory reset your console.

Once all that is done and your console has been reset to its Factory settings. Then, next you may install your desired games, copy back the saved game files from the USB or cloud drive, and check to see if the error still persists.
