How to Resolve Error Code 25 on the Rinnai water heater?

Fix 1: Open the machinery and check the condensate pipe for any blockages
Before you open the Rinnai heater, make sure that you disconnect the heater from all the power outlets, and remove all the wires that are connected to the heater.
Then bring the user manual of your water heater to find out where you can look for the condensate line.
Check the pipes for any blockages or debris. In case there is any kind of blockage then make sure to remove it.
Fix 2: Check the location of the condensate pipe
Have you installed the condensate pipe in an outside location where snow could cause the pipe to contract?
Check the location of the pipe and look around the condensate pipe for frost or frozen icicles. If you find ice around the condensate pipe, then remove it.
Fix 3: Check the condensate trap for the heating system
The condensate trap may catch any debris that is stuck into the condensate pipe. If you regularly find a lot of material in the condensate trap, this means that the water heater needs more cleaning on your part.
So consider cleaning the condensate line and the trap and then turn on the heater to see if the issue is resolved.

If the above fixes have not helped you get rid of the error, or if you opened up the heater to see that the condensate line is clean, you should contact the Rinnai support team.
