The main reason behind the Roblox Error code 908 is the unstable or slow network connection. An improper network connection can disrupt the connection between the device and the Roblox server and result in an error.
If you are getting the Roblox error code 908 then in this post we are going to share the possible troubleshoots to fix the error.
How To Fix Roblox error code 908?
Fix 1: Power Cycle Your Router
- Unplug your router power cable from the wall outlet.
- Wait for around 1 to 2 minutes.
- Plug in the router power cable back to the wall outlet.
- Wait till the router fully boots up.
Once power cycling of the router is done, check if the issue with Roblox is fixed or not. If not, then try connecting your phone with the internet and run youtube or a similar app to check if other apps are working perfectly over the internet or not.
Fix 2: Reset your Network
Note: This troubleshooting is for windows users.
- Go to Internet Explorer and open it.
- Tap the Gear icon.
- Tap Internet options.
- Tap on the Advanced tab.
- Tap on the Reset button.
- Then close Internet Explorer.
- Now check if the error has been resolved or not.
Fix 3: Check Browser’s Security Setting
The error can also occur if your browser security settings interrupt with the Roblox. So go to your browser security settings to check if the Roblox is allowed or not.
Also, take a very close look at each browser’s security settings, and if you find anything which may be interrupted with the Roblox then disable it.
Fix 4: Switch to a Wired Connection
If you have a LAN cable then try connecting to a wired connection. A wired connection provides a better connection in comparison to a wireless connection.
Fix 5: Disable Ad Blockers and Browser Add-Ons
If you are using adblocker or other browser extensions then they may interfere with the Roblox.
So firstly disable the AdBlocker extension on your browser then check if the error has been resolved or not.
If disabling the ad blocker not working then try disabling other browser add-ons.
Fix 6: Ensure that Ports are Open
Depending upon your operating system Robolox uses different ports. Currently, the Roblox port range is UDP 49152 – 65535. So make sure that all these Roblox ports are allowed.
Fix 7: Check Your Device & Router Firewall Settings
Inspect your device and router firewall settings, and disable them to check if they are creating issues with Roblox.
If disabling your Device or Router firewall setting fixes the issue then keep them disabled for Roblox.
Fix 8: Reach Roblox Support
If you have tried everything but are still stuck with the issue then now you should try contacting Roblox support for better help and advice.
