Fix 1: Use An Alternate Internet Connection
This error can occur with Roku because of any temporary issue with your network which might be preventing your device from reaching the Roku service to download and install the update.
So if you are using a Wifi connection then try using a mobile hotspot connection to check if the update is downloading on the alternate connection or not.
If the update is downloading on the alternate connection then let it download the update, and once the update is finished, switch to your default internet connection.
Fix 2: Does Your Roku Device Has MicroSD?
If in case your device has MicroSD then try removing the MicroSD and then try installing the update.
If the error still persists then keep the MicroSD out and make a hard reset. And after that try downloading the update.
