If you are also having Sky Go Error Code 001 then try the below-given workarounds to get rid of the error.

How To Fix Sky Go Error Code 001?

Fix 1: Reinstall The Latest Version Of The Sky Go

In order to resolve the error you have to download the next version of the Sky Go desktop app which is available in beta version.

This was advised by the Sky Go team in their official forum in response to a thread reporting this error.

For Windows

  • First Uninstall the sky go app from your device.
  • Then follow this, C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming.
  • From there Delete the Sky Go folder.
  • Then go to this link and download the Sky Go app.
  • Now check if you still have the error.

For MAC

  • Go to Finder.
  • Then Choose the Go tab from the top left corner navigation.
  • Then choose the Go to folder under the Go Tab.
  • Then Type in ~/Library/Caches and hit Enter.
  • Then delete the Sky Go app folder.
  • Then go to this link and download the Sky Go app.
  • Now check if you still have the error.

Fix 2: Make Sure Your Device Security Is Not Conflicting This The Sky Go

If you are a windows user and using Windows Defender or any other security software then add the Sky Go app to the exception list under your security software and then check for the error.

If you are a MAC user and using any third-party security software then do the same, and add the Sky go under the expectation list under your security software.

Note: To confirm if this is your security program that conflicts with the app or not. Simply disable the security software and check if you still have the issue or not.

Fix 3: Check For an Update

If you are already using the next version of the Sky Go desktop app but still having the error then check if you have any pending updates for the app.

As their latest app is released in the beta phase, such kinds of errors are common, and developers release the patch in the next update.

So make sure that the Sky go app doesn’t have any pending updates.

Additionally, also make sure that you don’t have any pending updates for your device firmware.

Fix 4: Contact Support

Above we have mentioned all the workarounds which worked for the users but in case you still have the error then go here and go through all the user conversations maybe you found something helpful. Also, try contacting Sky Go support and report the error.
