How To Fix Tangem Error Code 1001?

Here we will talk about the Tangem error code 1001.

This error comes when users try to make the transaction of a token.

The error reads โ€œThe transaction is not completed. Reason: Transaction simulation failed: Error processing instruction 2: custom program error 0x12, code: 1001.โ€

As per our research, this error comes when there is some error while making the transaction, or there is some temporary glitch on the backend.

Fix 1: Give It A Multiple Try

In our research, we have found that many times this error is just a result of a backend glitch from Tangemโ€™s system.

So as a first step, we advise you to close everything on your device and reboot it. Once your device is restarted, try again, and give it at least 3 to 4 retries.


Fix 2: Check The Decimal Value For The Token

In our research, we found one user who was having this issue because when he was giving the input for the token, the decimal field auto-filled itself with the incorrect value, resulting in this error.

So check and make sure you are also not making the same mistake. If so then correct it, and check if this resolves the issue.


Fix 3: Reach Out To Support

At last, we suggest you to wait for at least 5 to 6 hours and try again.

If the error still comes then go to the Tangem help center page and check if you find any details to contact the Tangem. At this point, it is better to reach out to their support and report the issue.
