When you buy any Audiobook from Audible, you buy it with the thought of freedom to listen to them on your choice of platform or device. But Audible doesn’t support all the devices, especially when it’s about the MP3 Player.

It isn’t that Audible doesn’t support any Mp3 player at all. It supports some mp3 players but not all.

In this post, I am going to tell you how you can play Audible Audiobook on the supported mp3 players, as well as on non-supported mp3 players.

You can transfer your Audible Audiobook to my MP3 Player by using these three methods,

  • Transfer Audible Audiobook On The Supported Mp3 Players With Windows 10 & Later
  • Transfer Audible Audiobook On Non-Supported Mp3 Players by converting your Audible Audiobook to mp3, and then transfer the mp3 file to your mp3 player.

How To Play Audible Audiobook On The Supported Mp3 Players With Audible Manager?


Note: Audible Manager is only available for the windows pc, so as a MAC user, unfortunately you can’t use this method.

  • Download and install Audible Manager to your PC
  • Plug your mp3 player into your PC with a USB
  • Launch the Audible Manager
  • Tap on the Device from the top menu
  • Tap Add New devices
  • Select your Mp3 Player from the shown mp3 Player
  • Tap ok “once you will click ok, the audible manager will shut down, and install a plugin to your Mp3 player”
  • Once the installation is complete, relaunch the Audible Manager
  • You can see your Mp3 Player under Mobile Devices from the left sidebar
  • Right-click on your Mp3 Player
  • Tap Activate
  • Login to your Audible Account
  • Select your Audiobook from the library
  • Tap Add to device
  • Wait till the Audiobook transferring process finish
  • Once the transfer is done, you can find the Audiobook in your mp3 Player

How To Transfer Audible Audiobook On The Supported Mp3 Players With Windows 10?


  • Plug your mp3 player to your PC with a USB
  • Open Audible App on your Windows 10 (if you don’t download the Audible app yet, then you can download it from the windows apps store)
  • Wait till the Audible App detects your Mp3 Player
  • Now go to your library.
  • Drag the book over the device icon, or simply tap the overflow menu (…) from your Audiobook, and tap Add to
  • Tap ok
  • Enter your Audible account details
  • Tap Activate
  • Audible will start transferring your Audiobook
  • Once the transfer completes, it will notify you with a pop-up message

Note: You need to activate your MP3 Player for the Audible account only once, when you try to transfer the book for the first time. Next time, you just need to connect your Mp3 Player with the computer, open the Audible app, and transfer the Audiobook.


How To Transfer Audible Audiobook On Non-Supported Mp3 Players?


Note: This method can be used for both MAC & windows.

If your Mp3 Player is not detected by the Audible Manager, or Audible app on Windows 10 & later, then it means your Mp3 Player is not supported by the Audible.

But you don’t need to be sad because you can still play your Audiobook to your mp3 Player.

  • Open Audible.com from your desktop browser
  • Go to the Audiobook which you want to transfer
  • Tap Download to start downloading the Audiobook to your local storage on your PC/Laptop
  • Wait till the download is finish
  • Search for Any Audible to mp3 convertor from Google
  • Open the Audible to mp3 convertor
  • Upload the Audiobook
  • Choose the file to convert to mp3 if needed
  • Tap Convert
  • Once the conversion is done, download the Mp3 version of the Audiobook to your PC
  • Now connect your mp3 Player with your PC/laptop, and transfer the audiobook
  • You are done
