How To Fix "Verizon Fios Router Blinking White But No Internet"

Try these fixes if your Fios Router blinking white,

  • Check your WAN cable.
  • Power Cycle your router.
  • Reset router.
  • Contact Verizon support.

Why Is Your Verizon Fios Router Blinking white?

There are three main reasons why your router is blinking white. And Any of these three reasons are causing the issue.

  • There is an ongoing Firmware upgrade.
  • Your router is Rebooting.
  • Your router is processing Hard reset.

How To Fix Verizon Fios Router Blinking white?

1. Check your WAN cable

Simply check if the Wan cable is connected properly to your router. Also, check if your Wan cable has no-fault and cuts.

2. Power Cycle your router

  • Unplug the power cord of your router.
  • Wait for around two minutes.
  • Plug the power cord again into the power outlet.
  • Wait for around two minutes.
  • Check if it finishes the issue.

3. Reset the router

  • Take a paperclip or any similar object.
  • Press and hold the reset button from the back of the router for around 15 seconds.
  • Wait till the Reset process finishes. It can take around 10 minutes to finish the reset process.

Please Note: Performing a reset will factory reset your router which means your customized settings will be whipped out, and the router username & password will be set to default as shown on the router label.

4. Contact Verizon support

If none of the solutions works for you then I will suggest you contact the Verizon support team.
