How to solve the error code 246008 on TSN?
Fix 1: Are you watching from Outside of Canada?
As you are aware TSN broadcasts content for Canada, therefore, there are certain limitations for the platform in other places.
So if you are watching from outside of Canada then make sure to use a reliable VPN, and check if this resolves the issue.
Fix 2: Use the platform in the developer mode
If you are using a Chromebook then as a next workaround you can try using the developer mode.
This is not a permanent solution instead, it is a workaround that can help you use TSN temporarily.
Before you use this fix, make sure that you understand that using the platform in developer mode for a long time can be risky. Therefore, it is advised that you back up all your device data beforehand in case you lose some data in the process.
Here is how you can switch to Developer mode on Chromebook.
- Sign in on the Chromebook with the owner’s account;
- Scroll to the bottom and click on the Settings menu on the right;
- Click on the option named Chrome OS;
- Click on the option Additional Details;
- Navigate to Channels and click on Change Channel;
- Select Developer Channel;
- Click on the Change channel to confirm your choice;
- Since you are selecting the developer mode, an update will be downloaded on the Chromebook.

Next, you can try using the TSN under your browser guest mode to check if this resolves the issue. In case the error doesn’t show up on the guest mode then you need to clear your browser cookies.
Here are the steps to switch to the guest mode on Chrome,

- Click on the option Guest.
