When you install WordPress on your site, WordPress automatically adds the wlwmanifest link under the Wp-Include directory for the Windows Live Writer support.
If you don’t know, Windows Live Writer is a discontinued desktop blog-publishing application that was developed by Microsoft and distributed as part of the Windows Live suite of apps. How To Remove wlwmanifest.xml From Your WordPress Site?
If you don’t use Windows Live Writer then you can easily remove this from your site header.
To remove the wlwmanifest.xml from your site header you have to add a simple line of code under your site Function.php file.
