Recently Wyze users started reporting different errors with Wyze products, and error code 1001 is one such error that is haunting Wyze customers recently with the Wyze app.

We have found that any private networks on your device can cause issues like this with the Wyze app. So if you are having the error code 1001 with the Wyze app then make sure you are not using any private network.


How To Fix Wyze Error Code 1001?


Fix 1: Turn Off Private Address On Your IOS device

If you are an IOS user and have this error then make sure your device’s private address is off.

  • Go to your phone Settings.
  • Go to Wifi.
  • Tap the IOS info icon on the right of your Wi-Fi network’s SSID.
  • Make sure Private Address is set to off.

Fix 2: Make Sure VPN Is Not On

If you are using any VPN then make sure your VPN is off while you are accessing the Wyze app.

You just need to simply turn off the ​​VPN and then try using the Wyze app.


Fix 3: Restart Wyze App

  • Quit the Wyze app completely.
  • Then disconnect your phone from the internet.
  • Wait for 10 seconds, and then reconnect your phone to the internet.
