Recommended Steps if You Are Having The Error With Avast Antivirus

Fix 1: Repair The Avast Antivirus

  • Right-click on the Windows Start icon.
  • Then choose Apps and Features.
  • Then tap on the Three-dot icon.
  • Then choose Uninstall twice.
  • If the user Account Control window prompts choose Yes.
  • Now wait till the Avast Setup window appears, and choose Repair.
  • Now wait till the Repair process finishes.
  • If it asks to Restart the computer, then consider Restarting your device.
  • Now check if the error still comes or not.

Fix 2: Reinstall The Avast Antivirus

If the error still continues after repairing the Avast Antivirus then you should consider uninstalling and reinstalling The Avast Antivirus.

  • Uninstall the Avast Antivirus software from your device.
  • Then Restart your PC.
  • Once your PC restarts, reinstall the Avast Antivirus software.

  • Then enter Services.msc and tap OK.

  • Then choose Properties.
  • Now select the General tab.
  • Now tap on the Drop-down menu next to Startup type.
  • Now choose Automatic.
  • Then choose Apply to confirm changes.
  • If the service stops running, choose Start in the Service status section.
  • Then Restart your PC.
  • Now check if the error still comes or not.

Fix 2: Reinstall The Avast Product Which Is Showing The Error
