As per our research this error “Bios Error 0x00050009” occurs with the Dayz as the users try to load any of their favorite servers, as they try to open the favorite tab the the error pops up.
Fixes For Dayz Bios Error Code 0x00050009
Fix 1: Power Cycle Your Device Along With The Internet
The very first thing you need to do is to power cycle your device along with the internet. To do so follow the steps given below.
- Power off the device on which you are playing the game. Make sure you disconnect the device from the power source.
- Then power off your router by disconnecting it from the power source.
- Now wait for a full 2 to 3 minutes.
- Then power on your device along with the internet.
- Then check if you still have the error.
Fix 2: Unfavorite Most Of The Servers
If you still get the error then unfavorite most of your servers and only keep 3 to 4 favorite servers at once. Many users have mentioned that doing this helps them fix the issue.
Fix 3: Press A From Your Xbox Console Controller
If you are using an Xbox console and having this error then try pressing the A button a couple of times from your Xbox console remote control. This workaround was shared on the DayzXbox Subreddit, we haven’t verified this workaround ourselves but you can try for yourself to check if that helps with the error or not.
Fix 4: Make Sure Your Device Along With The Dayz Is Updated
Next, you need to make sure if you are using the latest version of your device OS along with the latest version of the Dayz. In case there are any pending updates available for your device or the game then we will recommend you install them right away.
