What Is Blue Protocol Error Code 1?
First of all, there is not any official information available on error code 1 with the Blue Protocol.
Even on different forums and communities, there is very little information about this error. But we were able to find a few complaints raised by users on the Blue Protocol Subreddit.
As per the users’ complaints, the error code 1 occurs when users try to create a character, as they choose a name for their character they receive this error code 1, and it stops them from proceeding.
As per our research, there can be many reasons for the issues, such as using a VPN, choosing a name that is already taken, etc.
Fixes For Blue Protocol Error Code 1
Fix 1: Are You Using A VPN Or Proxy?
For some users using a vpn was the main cause for the error. If you are also using a VPN then we will suggest choosing a different server location and then check if now you can bypass the error.
If you still receive the error then we will suggest you to turn off your VPN or proxy then check if the error still persists.
Fix 2: Try Choosing A Different Name
If in your case the reason for the error is not the VPN then try choosing a different name for your character. It might be possible that you are choosing a name which is already taken and that’s why you are getting this error.

If you tried choosing a different name but the error is still coming then it may mean that your name is not taken, it’s just that the servers are overloaded. So we will suggest you to keep pressing the ok button, some users have mentioned success when they keep retrying. This is a normal thing for a newly released game.
Fix 3: Make Sure For Few Things
- Next check and make sure that your internet is giving you fast and stable connection. You can perform an internet speed test.
- Check if there is any pending update for the game, if yes then consider updating the game.
- If you still receive the error then most probably the Blue Protocol servers are overloaded. We will suggest you to wait for a few hours and keep trying.
