How To Fix Helldivers 2 Attempted Hacking Error Code: 1013?

In this article, we are going to share the details of the Helldivers 2 “Attempted Hacking Error Code: 1013.”

The error reads “GameGuard: Hack attempt detected! Please contact support at https://arrowhead.zendesk.com for further assistance.”

As the error message suggests it’s an error message that typically appears when users try to hack the game or get involved in similar activity. But in our research, we have found that this error can also occur even if you are not using any kind of hack and this usually happens when you are running a program that can also be used for hacking such as Process Hacker, etc.

So if you are running any program that can also be used for hacking or injecting something into the program then we will advise you to quit that program and then check for the error again.

Fix 1: Check For Any Conflicting Programs

If the error is coming even though your game is up to date with its latest version then check all the programs that you are running besides Steam and the game which can also be used in hacking or similar activities.

During our research, we found a user who was having the issue because he was using the “Process Hacker” which is just a tool to monitor system resources. As he quit the Process Hacker the error gets resolved.

So check and disable all the programs that you are running besides Steam and games that may conflict with the game, and then check for the error again.

Fix 2: Try Disabling The Nvidia Control Panel

Next, you can try disabling the Nvidia Control Panel from the task manager.

Simply go to the task manager and close the Nvidia Control Panel. Then check if the error still coming or not.

Fix 3: Try General Troubleshoots

• If the above suggestions are of no use to you then try temporarily disabling your device antivirus and then check for the error again.
