Fix 3: Disable Your Device Firewall And Antivirus Temporarily

Fix 4: Validate The Game Files While Device’s Antivirus/Firewall Is Disabled

  • Then Launch Steam.
  • Then go to the Game library.

  • Then look for the folder named “GameGuard”.
  • Then you need to Delete the “GameGuard” folder.
  • Then Run the Helldivers 2 as an Administrator to force the game to create a new GameGuard folder.
  • Then have a note of the Route to this new GameGuard folder.
  • Then go to your device’s Antivirus program.
  • Then from the antivirus program file explorer go back to the new GameGuard folder, and add this folder under your antivirus whitelist.
  • Then Restart your device and check for the error again.
