Fix 1: Make Sure There Are No Connectivity Issues

  • The first thing you need to ensure that there is no connectivity problem. To check if you have connectivity issues or not simply power off your router for around 5 minutes and then restart the router. Then check if the error continues or not.
  • If the error continues then make sure your laptop is not overheating as it can also lead to connectivity issues.
  • In case there is no overheating issue then try connecting your device over a mobile hotspot connection to check if that helps or not.

Fix 2: Try Disabling Your Device Firewall/Antivirus

If there is no issue with your internet then try disabling your device Firewall. In case you have installed any third-party antivirus then also consider disabling it. After that check if now you bypass the error or not.

For Windows Vista / 7 / 8:

  • Go to the Start menu search bar.
  • Then type “cmd” “cmd.exe“.
  • Then right-click on the “cmd.exe“.
  • Then choose “Run as administrator” to access the command prompt with administrator privileges.
  • Then type “ipconfig /flushdns” and press “Enter“.
  • Then type “netsh winsock reset” and press “Enter“.
  • Then Restart the PC.

Fix 7: Reinstall The Maplestory
