Fix 1: Try To Download Using The Download Later Option

The first possibility of the error is connection timed out because of some network interruption. So we will advise you to use the Download Later option.

  • Go to the Home Menu.
  • Then choose the Nintendo eShop icon.
  • Then tap Open.
  • Then scroll left and choose Settings/Other.
  • Then choose Redownloadable Software.
  • Then choose Redownload next to the software you want to redownload.
  • Then choose Download.
  • Then choose Download Later. Now the items will begin when the system enters sleep mode.

Fix 2: Use The Download Now Option

  • When you see the blocks stop dropping, tap download later.
  • Then choose Continue.
  • Then choose Ssb4 and Redownload.
  • Then choose Download.
  • Then choose download now to continue downloading from where it left off.
  • In case it keeps stopping after a while then try the same steps again and again until you successfully download it.
