Fix 1: Try Switching Between Desktop Mode And Game Mode
The first fix you should try is to switch between the desktop mode and the game mode.
Simply switch to the desktop mode and then after waiting for a few seconds switch back to the game mode. Then check if the error continues or not.
Fix 2: Check For Unchecked Notifications
In our research, we found many users who were having this issue because they had many unchecked notifications. Once they checked all of their notifications the error got away.
Here are the steps you need to follow,
- Go to Desktop mode.
- Then launch Steam.

Fix 3: Switch To The Stable SteamOS Build
Our research also suggests that this error may also come if users are on the SteamOS beta channel. So if you are also on the SteamOS beta channel then try switching to the Stable SteamOS build and then check for the error again.
Fix 4: Try Uninstalling Your Decky Plugins
If you are done with the above suggestion but still stuck with the error then the error may be coming because of any of your Decky plugins.
