Fix 1: Sign Out And Re-sign in

  • Then quit the Prime Video app on your device.
  • Then disconnect your device from the internet.
  • Then wait for around 10 to 20 seconds.

Fix 2: Are You Using Prime Video On Xbox?

If you are using Prime Video from your Xbox console then clear the alternate MAC Address. This workaround was shared on Reddit.

Follow the steps given below to clear the alternate MAC address on your Xbox.

  • Tap the Start at the main menu.
  • Then go to the Settings.
  • Then choose Network Settings.
  • Then choose Advanced Settings.
  • Then choose Alternative Mac Address.
  • Then choose Clear.
  • Now your Xbox will restart itself, so wait till your Xbox fully restarts.
  • Then check if this issue has been resolved or not.

Fix 3: Troubleshoot Your Device

  • Power off your device by disconnecting it from the power source. Then wait for a full 4 to 5 minutes and then restart the device. Then check if the error still remains.
  • Check if your device needs to be updated, if yes then consider installing the update right away.
  • Reset your device’s Network Settings to check if that helps.

Fix 4: Troubleshoot Your Network

  • Power off your router by disconnecting it from the power source. Keep your router powered off for around 2 to 3 minutes. Then restart the router and check if the error still remains.
  • Go to any internet speed test website to check if your internet speed is fast enough to stream Prime Video.
  • Try using other apps or websites on your device to check if they also have some issues. If yes then this indicates some issues with your internet and you should contact your ISP to resolve the problem.
  • Connect your device over any other WiFI connection or any mobile hotspot connection to check if that helps.
