Things To Note Before Deleting Your Account
- Please don’t try to login back to your account within 48 hours, because if you do so your account will automatically be restored. So if you want to confirm whether your account successfully gets deleted or not. Please check your email or wait for more than 48 hours.
- Once your account is deleted, your username will be locked and nobody can create an account with that username, even you can’t do this.
- If you have a child account under your main Khan Academy Account then you have to first delete your child accounts. After that, you will be able to delete your main account.
- You can’t use your previous username once your account is deleted, but you can make a new account with your email wherever you want.
- Once your account is successfully deleted, and you don’t try login back within 48 hours then your account will get permanently deleted. And you can’t restore it ever.

- Tap your profile name from the top right corner.
- Tap Settings from the given options.
- Now scroll down and tap delete your account.
- To delete your account you have to verify your identity by entering your account password. Or you can also choose to authenticate through Google, Facebook, Clever, or Apple.

- Scroll down and reach to your Child Account.
- Tap settings next to your child’s account username.
- Scroll down and tap “Delete [Your Child Account Username]”

- After that, your account will be deleted.
Note: Once the child account is deleted, you can delete your own account.
How To Delete Khan Academy Account Through the Smartphone?
Some websites explain the process to delete the Khan Academy account from their app on your smartphone. But when we did our research and try to delete our account from Khan Academy App on an Android phone then we were unable to find any option to delete our account.
As per our research, you can’t delete your Khan Academy Account from their Smartphone App.

How To Restore Khan Academy Account?
If you mistakenly deleted your account and want to recover it. Then yes it’s possible if it’s not deleted for more than 48 hours.
Khan Academy gives the option to restore a deleted account within 48 hours. And to restore a Khan Academy account simply try logging in to your khan academy.
If it’s not more than 48 hours then your account will be automatically restored and you will get a confirmation mail in your email.
