Fixes For Google Pay Is Updating Right Now Error


Fix 1: Check For Update

In response to this error, your first step will be to check the update for the Google Pay app. Simply quit the Google Play app and remove it from the recent app list, after that check if you need to update the Google Pay app.

  • Quit the Google Pay app.
  • Then remove the app from the Recent app section.
  • Then go to your App Store.
  • Search for the Google Pay app from the search bar.
  • Then check if you can see the Update option next to the Google Pay app, if so then choose to update the app.
  • Once the app is updated, check if the error still comes.

Fix 2: Restart The App

If there is no update available for the Google Play app then try restarting your phone and once your phone restarts check if the error still comes. If the error still comes then check the update for the Google Pay app again.


Fix 3: Remove And Reinsert The Sim

If restarting your phone is also not helping then shut down your device, then remove and reinsert your sim card. After that restart your phone and check if the error still comes.
