In our research, we have found that the error is not platform-specific and may come to all the platforms.

According to our research, the error comes when there is an update failure which can happen for many different reasons such as any temporary glitches, there is not enough space left for the update to download, etc.

Fixes For Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Error Code Polana

Fix 1: Quit The Game Manually And Relaunch The Game

As per our research users should first manually quit the game and then relaunch it to clear any temporary glitches with the game which might be causing the error.

  • Visit the dashboard;
  • Tap on the Start button to launch the game;
  • Quit the game;
  • Wait for a couple of minutes;
  • Relaunch the game;
  • Check if the error persists.

Fix 2: Hard Reset Your Device

If relaunching the game is not helping then try power cycling your device to clear temporary issues with your device in case they might be causing the error.

  • Shut down your gaming device;
  • Disconnect your device from the power source;
  • Wait for around 5 minutes;
  • While you are waiting, restart your internet;
  • Then restart your gaming device;
  • At last, check if the error still continues.

Fix 3: Check if The Issue Is Related To Internet Porting

If the error persists then the issue can be related to the internet porting which is quite a common issue with the Call Of Duty games.

  • Shut down your internet;
  • Then forget your internet entirely from your device;
  • Then shut down your device as well;
  • Then wait for around 1 minute;
  • Then restart your internet and gaming device;
  • Then reconnect your device to your internet;
  • Then check if the error is now resolved.

Fix 4: Try Deleting Game Data

If the error is still not resolved then the issue might be related to corrupt game files so we suggest deleting the game data/files to clear any corrupted game files.

Fix 5: Do You Have Enough Storage For The Update To Download

Next, we advise you to check if you have enough storage left on your device for the update to be successfully downloaded, if not then it may be causing the issue.

If the update needs 40GB then you should have around 80 to 100 GB of space to successfully download and install the update to your device.

So make sure you have enough room for the update to download and install.

Fix 6: Try Using Static IP

During our research, we found one user who shared that he tried everything but nothing had solved the issue. At last, he used a Static IP for his PSN console and then put the IP in his router’s DMZ, and this resolved the issue for him.

So if you are done with the above suggestions but still having the error then you can also try the same for you, especially if you are on a PlayStation console.

Fix 7: Check Server Status

If you are done with everything we have suggested above but still getting the error then we advise you to check the Server status of the game to check if the servers are down because of maintenance or outage.
