Moreover, there may be times when different components within the door system might not be compatible with one another. In such cases, they too might cause such an error to occur.


Fix 2: Check Loose Module Wires

Loose module wires have been seen to be one of the most common reasons out there causing the following error to occur. 

If that is the case for you too. Then, checking for such loose connections within the system and repairing any damaged wires or harness should be the best solution out there to fix the following issue.


Fix 3: Check whether door is aligned properly

If your door is not aligned properly or not mounted properly. Then, such an error showing up often might be quite normal. 

Hence, it is important that you check whether your door is aligned properly. And if not, then align the door properly to check and see if the error still persists.


Fix 4: Check for any kind of obstruction 

There may be times when some or the other kind of obstruction in between your door and panel or sensors might be the reasons responsible for the following error to occur. 

In such cases, check for any such obstruction and clear it accordingly to fix the following issue.


Fix 5: Adjust the door closer spring

Loosening or tightening the door closer spring can also help at times to take care of the error, if it is something caused due to a tight door closer spring.

Here, all you need to do is simply locate the closer spring of the door and loosen the tension spring with the help of a wrench. 

If it is too loose. Then, you can turn the tension spring in an anti-clockwise direction to see if doing so helps get rid of the error. 

You will need to loosen and tighten the spring, until you meet the point which is ideal for the door and does not cause the following error to occur.

If none of the solutions as shown above work for you. Then, it would be a good idea to directly contact Liftmaster’s Customer Support or go to your nearest Liftmaster dealers and discuss the problem with them to come up with a viable solution to fix the issue.
