Fix 1: Update the Square app 

The very first and foremost thing you must check with the app if you have the fry error code flashing on your screen, is whether the app is updated or not. 

If the app is outdated or has any updates available. Then, you should try updating the app and see if doing that helps you to solve the issue.

Fix 2: Update your Mobile device OS
