As per our research error code 3005 mainly occurs while launching the Pandora app, and the error comes as soon after launching the app. We also have found that this error can occur on Android devices as well as IOS devices, and this error can occur whether users are using mobile data or wifi.

As of now, there is no official fix from Pandora, but from different forums and communities, we have gathered some troubleshoots that may help with this error.

Fix 1: Make Sure The Pandora App Is Updated

In our research, we have found that this error was very common with previous versions of the Pandora app but developers have fixed this issue on their end in the latest version of Pandora, 2102.1.1 app, so make sure you are using the latest version of the app. You need to simply check if there are any pending updates for the Pandora app, if so then consider updating the app.


Fix 2: Restart Your Phone

If you are using the latest version of the Pandora app but the error still comes then we will advise you to restart your phone to resolve any temporary glitches and bugs with the device. Simply shut down your phone for around 10 minutes, then restart your phone, and then check if the error still comes or not.


Fix 3: Clear The Cache Data For Pandora App

If the error still continues after restarting the phone then try clearing the cache data for the Pandora app. To clear the cache data for the Pandora app simply follow the steps given below.

For Android

  • Go to the Pandora app.
  • Now Tap and hold on to the Pandora app icon.
  • Then tap App Info.
  • Then tap Storage.
  • Then tap Clear Cache.
  • Then Relaunch the Pandora app.

Fix 4: Switch Between Mobile Data And Wifi

If clearing the cache data doesn’t resolve the issue then try switching between the mobile data and wifi. In case you are connected over mobile data then try connecting over a Wifi/hotspot connection, and in case you are using the Wifi connection then connect over your mobile data.

Next, check and make sure that you have allowed all the required permissions for the Pandora app. Additionally, also make sure that battery optimization for the Pandora app is disabled, and the Pandora app is allowed to run in the background.
