Fix 1: Clear Steam Web Cache

  • Then choose the ‘Web Browser’ tab.
  • Then select ‘Delete web browser cache’.
  • Then quit Steam.
  • Then Wait for around 10 seconds, and then Relaunch Steam.

Fix 2: Reboot Your System

If you still receive the error then now it’s time to reboot your system. Simply shut down your PC/Computer and make sure it is not connected to the power source. Then wait for around 2 to 3 minutes and then restart your system, now check if the error still comes.

Fix 3: Check For Internet Related Issues

Next, try doing anything else on the internet to make sure your internet is working. If you have some problem while doing other things on the internet then go to any internet speed test websites and check your internet speed.

If your internet speed is good but the error is still coming then connect over a mobile hotspot connection and check if it helps or not.


Fix 4: Disable Integrated Network Card

If you still receive the error then chances are that the error is coming because of your PC/computer Integrated Network Card. As per Techwalla, An Integrated NIC (Network Interface Card) is an Ethernet controller included as part of the motherboard of a computer.

Some users on the Steam community have shared that for them the solution was to disable the integrated Network card in their PC/computer, so you can also try disabling integrated Network cards.
