So even if you get this error, we will advise you to check if you get any emails from Steam.
Fix 2: Make Sure You Are Not Using VPN
In case you are using a VPN while resetting your Steam password then this can also be the problem. It can be possible that Steam is detecting that you are resetting your account password from a different IP, and as a result, it’s showing you the error. So if you are using VPN then consider disabling it and then try resetting your Steam password again.
Fix 3: Restart Steam And Try Multiple Again
