Fix 1: Make Sure There Are No Pending Updates For The Game
First thing you need to check if you are using the latest version of the game. If the error is coming from the game’s side then it’s quite possible that developers have released a fix in the update. So check and make sure that you are using the latest version of Diablo 4.

Fix 2: Close And Relaunch The Game
If you are using the latest version of the Diablo 4 but error still comes then close the game and relaunch it. Our recommendation will be to relaunch the game a couple of times before giving up on this workaround.
- Quit the game.
- Then disconnect your device from the internet.
- Then wait for a few seconds and reconnect your device to the internet
- Then relaunch the game.
- Then check if the error still appears.
Fix 3: Restart The Device
If the error continues then the next thing you can try is to restart the device. You need to simply power off your device and then restart the device after 2 to 3 minutes. Then check if the error still continues.

Fix 5: Disable The VPN Or Similar Services
If you are using a VPN, proxy, or any other similar service, consider temporarily deactivating or reconfiguring them to enable Diablo 4’s connection. Occasionally, these configurations may interfere with the game and disrupt its ability to establish a reliable connection with the servers.
Fix 6: Temporarily Disable Your Device Firewall Or Antivirus
If you have applied the above steps but the error is still coming then we will suggest you to disable your device Firewall or Antivirus temporarily to find out if they are causing the issue.
If the error no longer persists when your device Firewall/Antivirus is disabled then you can reactivate the Firewall/Antivirus. But you have to establish exceptions or rules in your firewall/antivirus settings to permit Diablo 4’s connections.
