If you are playing Epic Seven and have been recently encountered with the following Epic Seven Error Code 302. Then, for a solution, you have come to the right place.
So, usually whenever you see the following error show up on your game screens, you can assume it to be due to server issues at the server end or some kind of connection problem, either within your network or at the server side itself.
Be it for any reason, in the following article here, I have tried to list out all the possible troubleshooting methods out there with the help of which you should be able to fix the issue on your own and go back to playing the game as usual.
However, when troubleshooting with the following solutions, it is important to note that most of the solutions would only work if the error has been caused due to a problem at the client end. There is no guarantee that the fixes would work for problems or issues causing the error at the server end or on your ISP end.
Fixes For Epic Seven Error Code 302
Fix 1: Check Server Outage
Checking the server status of Epic Seven should be the first and foremost thing to do, if you do not want to waste your time unnecessarily troubleshooting the following error.
This is because, unless the problem causing the error is not something at the client side, i.e. at your end. Then, there is no use going further with the rest of the solutions, but just wait it out till the problem gets resolved at the server side itself.
And given that the error is primarily a server outage or maintenance issue. It is usually a good idea to simply wait it out, till the Epic Seven team resolves it at their end itself.

However, if the server is up and running fine. Then, you could assume that the problem might be at your end. And then, you can go on with the rest of the solutions as shown below to deal with the error message.
Fix 2: Check Internet Connection
The second most important and necessary thing to do would be to check your internet connection and see if there is any issue with your network.
Check for any loose connection or damage to the wires. And if needed, change such damaged wires with a new one.
You should also check the speed of your internet connection and see if it is running in a stable manner or not. To check your speed you can do it by going to the following website. Or, simply try running a youtube video on high quality to get an idea.
And if the speed you are getting is not as per your subscription plan. Then, you should take it up with your ISP provider and discuss a subscription plan which suits your needs.
Fix 3: Reset your Network Device
If there are no server issues and your internet is also working fine. Then, you can try resetting your network devices.
There may be times when certain settings made to your router or modem device might not be compatible with the game or its requirements. In such cases, it is thus best to reset your network devices and bring it back to the default settings so that the game can run as it should and this might help solve the issue for you as well.
To reset your network devices, you can look for the reset button or hole at the back of your router or modem devices. And then, press on the button or with the help of a paperclip press into the reset hole and hold it for at least 10 seconds respectively. Doing this should reset your network devices and bring your network settings to its initial default factory settings.
Note: The steps to reset a network device might also differ from one model to the other. Hence, if the device you are using is not resetting according to the steps as shown above. Then, it would be best to search up the steps on your own to avoid any further confusion and reset the device correctly.
Fix 4: Update your App
If your app is quite outdated and is not compatible with the recent settings or requirements. Then too, such an error might also show up, as that might be a reason why your game cannot connect properly to the game servers.
So here, depending on whichever platform you are using. You can go to the respective app stores and update the app from there.
Fix 5: Clear app cacheÂ
There may be times when unnecessary data being stored in your app cache memory might also lead to such an error showing up as a result of some conflict.
Hence, it is a good idea to clear such app cache from time to time, in order to avoid such errors from popping up.
Steps to clear app cache for Android OS:
- Go to your device Settings page, by clicking on the Settings app or the Gear icon.
- Inside the Settings page, head to the Apps section and select the Epic Seven app from the app list.
- Then, under the Epic Seven app info page, go to the Storage & cache option and click on the clear cache option.
Steps to clear app cache for iOS:
- Head to the Settings option menu from your Homescreen.
- Then, scroll down and tap on the Epic Seven app option.
- Next, to the bottom, toggle on the Clear (reset) app cache on next launch option.
- Launch the app, login to your Epic Seven account and check if the error still persists.
Fix 6: Uninstall and reinstall the app
Uninstalling and reinstalling the app should be done last, as it pretty much covers up both the steps as shown above like updating the app or clearing its cache, along with getting rid of minor bugs or glitches which might come up as you go on using the app all this while.
You can uninstall the app as you would do for any other app. And then, install it back from your respective App stores and see if the error still occurs.
Fix 7: Contact Customer Support
If none of the above shown methods work for you and the server is also running fine. Then, as a last resort, you should try directly contacting their official customer support and discuss the problem with them, to come up with a solution which works best for you.
