Just Dance ‘Wrong Code‘ error occurs when users try to connect the Just Dance controller app to the game with the code but even though users enter the correct code they receive the error that says ‘Wrong Code‘.
Many users have reported that this error started to appear after the recent app update so it’s very likely that this error is coming from Ubisoft’s side and it should get fixed very soon. Meanwhile, we are going to share some temporary workarounds that we have found in our research.
Fixes For Just Dance ‘Wrong Code’ Error
- Our first suggestion for you will be to restart the Just Dance controller app and make sure that your internet is working without any issues.
- Next make sure that your gaming device and phone are connected over the same wifi network, and not on airplane mode or dnd mode.
- Next double check the code which you are entering to make sure that you are entering the correct code.
- If you have checked for the above things but the error is still coming then it’s likely that the error is coming from the app itself. If you have an Android phone then you can try downloading an older version of the APK, it will fix your issue. In case you are using an iPhone then you can’t simply install the APK file so this workaround will not work for you.
- During our research, we found a user who shared that all he did was to remove the just dance from the quick start menu and it gave the new code which worked. So if you are on an Xbox console then you can also try the same.
- If you are on a PSN console then try deleting all your game saves and then check if the error still comes or not.
