Navien error code E003 may appear because of the ignition failure of the unit, or because of power failure.

How To Fix Navien error code E003?
Fix 1: Check igniter
The main reason behind the e003 error code is ignition failure in the unit. So check and make sure that the gas supply is powered on and working. Also, make sure that the ground wire is connected properly and the unit’s igniter is producing sparks.
Fix 2: Check the igniter electrode or the PCB
Also, check the igniter electrode or the PCB if they need to be clean or replaced.
If you find dirt over the igniter electrode or the PCB then clean them properly. And in case they are damaged then replace them right away.
Fix 3: power failure
Power failure can be a culprit especially if you live in a locality where routine blackouts or power failures are very common.
In that case, you have to check the battery backup power supply of your unit.
Fix 4: Reset Your Unit
If you have checked everything listed above then try resetting the unit by pressing the Reset button from the front panel. Many times resetting the unit do the trick.
Fix 5: Contact Navien
If you have tried everything but are unable to resolve the issue then it’s advisable to contact navien support for better help and advice.
