If you are a Paramount Plus user, and have been recently prompted with the following Paramount Plus Error Code 1106. Then, chances are that you are seeing the following error as a result of some conflict between installed addons and your browser, or some issues with a VPN app or service which may be enabled on your respective devices.

Be it any reason, in the following article we have tried to cover up all the possible solutions out there with the help of which you should be able to solve the error, pretty much by yourself and in no time.

Fixes For Paramount Plus Error Code 1106

Fix 1: Refresh the browser page

For the very first step, you can try refreshing your browser page. If a recent cache is in conflict with the browser and that is what is causing the following error to occur. Then, refreshing your browser once or twice may not be a very bad idea after all.

Hence, refresh your browser once and see if doing so helps fix the issue.

Fix 2: Disable conflicting Add-ons

Another very common reason why such an error might show up, would be if there were any conflicting add-ons being installed on your browser. If so, then such add-ons might prevent the website from loading properly, giving rise to such errors.

Hence, in such cases, it would be best that you try disabling such add-ons which you may doubt are responsible for causing the following error to occur.

Once disabled, check if the error still persists while trying to login to your Paramount Plus accounts.

Fix 3: Disable any VPN app or service

If you are trying to log into Paramount Plus from a country where their services are not available, or have a VPN app or service enabled on your system. Then, such an error might also show up and prevent you from accessing your account and stream your favorite content.

In such cases, it would be a good idea to simply try disabling any VPN service or app on your system and try checking if the error still persists.

Fix 4: Clear your browser cache or cookies

There may be times when having a lot of cache data and cookies saved in your browser may result in such an error showing up. This may happen when the saved cache data on your browser comes in conflict with new data, and your browser cannot differentiate.

Hence, in such cases, to solve the following error, it would be best to simply clear up your browser’s cache and cookie history and see if doing so helps fix the issue.

And since, each and every browser out there comes with its own set of steps to clear their cache and cookies history. It would not be possible to fit it all in a single article here. Hence, it is advised that you try to search for the steps in clearing your browser cache on your own.

However, just to make things a little simple. I have listed below some of the most popular browsers out there, as well as links to guide on how to clear cache for each one of them.

Fix 5: Clear app cache

If you are using the Paramount Plus app on either your Android or iOS devices. Then, similar to what we had seen in the case above, previous cache being stored up on your app from time to time may result in the following error to occur when in conflict with any new operation or data fed into the app.

Hence, it would be a good idea to simply clear up your app cache on your respective devices, and see if doing so helps fix the issue.

Steps to clear app cache for Android

  • Go to your device’s Settings page, by either tapping on the Settings app or the gear icon.
  • Then, go to Apps option and from the list of apps, select and tap on the Paramount Plus app.
  • On the next page, tap on the Storage & cache option and then, click on the Clear cache option.
  • This should clear your app cache and you will need to login to your account once again with your credentials.
  • Once logged in, check if the error still persists.

Steps to clear app cache for iOS

  • From your Homescreen, go to your Settings page.
  • Then, scroll down and click on the Paramount Plus app.
  • On the next page, toggle on the Clear app cache on next launch option.
  • Once done, launch the app, login to your account and check if the error still occurs.

Fix 6: Uninstall and reinstall the app

If clearing up app cache or restarting the app does not work for you. Then, you can also try uninstalling the app from your device, and then reinstall it back onto your respective devices.

This way you will get the latest version of the app, as well as get rid of any bugs or conflicting data causing the error from the previous version of the app itself.

Simply uninstall the app completely off your devices. And then, reinstall it back onto your device and check if the error still occurs.

Fix 7: Contact Customer Support

If none of the above solutions work for you. Then, you should directly try contacting Paramount Plus’ customer support and discuss the problem with them to come to a solution which works for you.
