Fix 3: Deactivate and Reactivate UPnP
If you are suffering from the following error on a Windows PC. Then, you can try out the following steps as have been mentioned by user @Pyrrhus below.
- Here, you will need to first go to your router setup page or interface page.
- Usually, you can do this by heading to the following address: 192.168.1.1 on your browsers.
- It is however, important to note here that the address might differ from one model to the other. Hence, it would be a good idea to try and find out the address for your respective router on your own or refer to the manual that came with your router at the time of purchase.
- Then, under the Forwarding section, head to the UPnP option and deactivate it.
- After a few moments, activate the UPnP option again and turn off your router device.
- Unplug your network devices from the power supply and after 10 seconds or more, plug them back in and switch on the devices.
- Check whether doing so helps fix the issue for you.
