This error is very common on On higher-end systems. And the best solution is to make sure that there is s a CPU load present when you launch the game.

• Quit Red Dead Redemption 2 completely.
• Then run a separate game in the background before launching Red Dead Redemption 2.
• Once the other game launch proceeds to play the game.
• Then while the other game is running launch the RDR2.
• If you still have the error with RDR2 then try the above steps at least 2 to 3 times.
• Once the RDR2 opens, close the other game.
