You can find the Patch folder and the .exe file in the game folder which usually by default should be in your C: drive and under Program Files, unless you manually set the location to a different destination during the installation process.

Hence, once you have deleted both the files from your system. You can next launch the Origin app and repair the game as shown below:

  • Head to the My Game Library section on your Origin dashboard.
  • Then, right-click on the Star Wars2 game icon and select the Repair Game option from the drop down menu list.
  • Give it a few moments for the game to be repaired, and check if that helps with the error.

Fix 2: Change your location

As has been mentioned by user @DanielVader12 as shown in the screenshot below, changing your location on EA account settings can also help solve the particular issue, if it is a server issue happening with any of the regional servers you are connected to.

Fix 5: Run the game as admin

This is more of a general troubleshooting solution which allows users to somewhat bypass an error faced by users by allowing a program full access to resources within the system, which otherwise would be very limited, giving rise to such errors showing up more easily.

To run the game as an administrator, you can simply right-click on the game icon or launcher, and select the Run as administrator option.

You can also keep the settings of running that particular program as an admin by following the steps as shown by user @dragosoldier1818 below.
