We have looked into the error and after having gone through a number of forums and community chats online, finally managed to compile a list of solutions which users have reported to have worked for them in solving the particular error.

Fixes For StockX status code 500

Fix 1: Check server status

When dealing with a 500 status error such as the one we have with us today. It is always a good idea to first have a look at server status for the particular website giving the error. Doing this gives us a clearer picture of  whether the problem causing the error lies at the server end or the client (user) end.

If the server status shows that the servers are down due to a server outage or maintenance. Then, it would be best to just wait it out till the developers take care of the problem at their end itself.

However, if you can find nothing wrong at the server end and the servers are up and running fine. Then, it would be safe to assume that the problem may lie on your end and with the help of the rest of the solutions as described below, you can try and fix the following.

To look for the server status, you can either do it by going to websites like updownradar, or head to their official social media accounts and check if other users are facing the same issue as yours.

Fix 2: Clear Browser or App cache

Depending on whether you are logged into the website on your browser or using the StockX app on your Android or iOS devices. You may either want to clear your browser cache or the cache memory of the StockX app on your mobile devices.

To clear the app cache on an Android OS, you can refer to the following guide.

And if you are using an iOS device. Then, you can look up for the steps to clear the app cache here.

However, in the case of browsers. Since, for each type of browser the steps to clearing their cookies and cache memory may be different. It would be best to search up for the steps on your own to avoid any confusions.

Fix 3: Check for other accounts linked to the same ID

StockX Status Code 500

Although, this happening should be quite rare, as registering or having two StocksX accounts with the same email ID is close to impossible. Still, due to a database mismanagement or a glitch it may so happen that two accounts are created against a single email account.

You can call up StockX helpdesk and ask them whether the error you are seeing may be due to something like that. And if so, then ask them to delete any other account which might exist by providing any data asked by them.
