This Prime Video error mainly occurs with Xbox consoles but we have found this error can also occur on Roku, Apple TV, and other devices.
How To Fix Amazon Prime Video Error Code 5266?
Fix 1: Check Xbox Server Status
The very first thing which you need to ensure is Xbox server status.
Before going into any troubleshooting please make sure that the Xbox server is up and running without no errors.
Because there is no advantage of trying different workarounds while Xbox servers are down. All you need to wait for some time till the Xbox server gets back to normal.

Fix 2: Check Prime Video Server Status
If Xbox servers are live with no problem then check the Amazon Prime Video server status.

Fix 3: Test And Improve Your Internet Connection
- Power off your router and wait for around one minute minimum. After that power on the router and check if Prime Video is still showing the error.
- If you still get the error then go to any Internet speed test website and test your Internet connection speed. If your Internet connection speed is slow then contact your ISP.
Fix 4: Connect To Different Internet
If in case your Internet speed is good but you still have the error then try connecting your device with a different Internet, and check if the prime video is working or not.
